Tasmanian Family History Society Inc.
The Genealogical Society of Tasmania (GST) was founded in 1980. At the 2000 Annual General Meeting, it was decided to change the name of the Society from Genealogical Society of Tasmania Inc. (GST Inc.) to Tasmanian Family History Society Inc. (TFHS Inc.). And so, after 21 years as the Genealogical Society of Tasmania, our Society is now the Tasmanian Family History Society Inc..
