William DOUGLAS - arrived with the 1st Fleet aboard the Alexander. He married Mary Groves, also a First Fleeter, on 1 June 1788. Their only surviving child was Elizabeth who married convict, Daniel Jurd at Windsor in September 1812. This William Douglas is not to be confused with William Douglass of the Coromandel, arriving 1802.
