Denise's Social Column
TUESDAY 4TH SEPTEMBER we will be going to the Doll's Hospital at
Bexley, we will car pool from the library at 10am. A $2 donation is
given, which goes to the Childrens Hospital. For more information see me.
SUNDAY 9TH SEPTEMBER is our Advanced Workshop, it is being held in the
library at 11am, in room one. I have had a very good response to this
workshop, so if you want to attend, please put your name down as some as
possible. The cost is $10 pp and this includes morning and afternoon
tea's, you will have to provide your own lunch. Carol Cockshott and
David Beddie will be conducting the workshop.
The Theatre night on Sat.18th August was a wonderful night,enjoyed by
all, I especially enjoyed the singing along with the performers.
The next Theatre night will be on Saturday 17th November,and the show
will be HAIR at a cost of $18pp, as I expect this show to sell out
quickly, please see me and book your tickets early. I have 24 tickets
booked in advance already in rows A and B.
As I will be getting my roster for next year made up soon, if you have
someone you would like to hear talk or a place to visit, please let me
know. I am looking into a Guided tour of the Land Titles Office next
year, as one of our outings.

The Atlas provides information on each of the 32 Irish counties,

cities, towns, villages and baronies, as well as the rivers and roads
etc. The information on the population of the counties and major towns,
and the clearly marked baronies on the individual maps, should prove of
use and interest to genealogists involved in studying their Irish ancestry.
