Denise’s Social Column

The street stall held on Friday 11th May, was a great success, we raised $231. So thank you to all those people who donated items to sell.

Thank you to Pam Shea, Trevor & Anne Rhodes and Michael Murphy for volunteering their time, to man the stall.

The Goulburn Trip is now on Wednesday 13th June, for anyone interested in going, we will car pool from the library, please contact me for more details.

The theatre night is going well and I have booked all 15 tickets that I had, but I have booked another 5 if anyone is still interested in coming along.

Also congratulations to June & Neville Vercoe and Sheila & Colin Semain who are both celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversaries.

For all those ladies who still love their doll's and bear's, I have found a special place to visit. It's the Doll's Hospital at Bexley. It was founded over 70 years ago and for a small fee of $2 dollars, which is donated to The Sydney Children’s Hospital, you can see all the Doctors and Nurses at work. I was thinking we would do this in September. It sounds lovely to me, as I still love my doll's and bears.
